In the early nineties LaserSoft Imaging consulted Leaf, Canon, Sony, Seiko and others with the very special knowledge of desktop high end color. Now, our customers can benefit from this knowledge.

SilverFast Ai
SilverFast Ai is award-winning scanner software that has set a new standard for ease of control and sophistication for desktop scanners. SilverFast Ai is high-end scanning and image optimization software from LaserSoft Imaging, a pioneer in high-end desktop imaging. SilverFast is now available for more than 315 scanners and digital cameras running under Mac (also OS-X) and Windows operating systems. If you want to scan yourself we highly recommend this software! We use it for our customer’s heirloom prints and slides.

SilverFast Ai and SilverFast HDR are working in full 16 (48) bit mode and besides delivering uncorrected output into 48 bit HDR-format, it also provides full 48 bit color-corrected output. Thus enabling the optimum throughput while securing maximum dynamic range! This software is one of the best on the market.

SilverFast Multi-Exposure improved and officially approved
Silverfast Engineers are never satisfied with the current status quo. They are constantly "tweaking" and enhancing features, like SilverFast Multi-Exposure. Very often input from users is evaluated and taken into account in order to push the limits even further. In their latest update of SilverFast 6.5.1r1 Multi-Exposure for regular 24-bit scans was realized.
